Wanda F. Cherry, age 77, of 3501 Bengston Street, Bakersfield, CA, died in her home following a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease on July 2, 2006.
Wanda is survived by her husband, David, her four sons, Jerry Cantrell and his wife, Terry, Modesto, CA, Phillip Cantrell, Las Vegas, NV, Russell Cantrell, Bakersfield, CA, William Cantrell
and his wife, Donna, Bakersfield, CA; her stepsons, Craig Cherry, Denver, CO, Boyd Cherry and his wife, Rita, Tulsa, OK; her stepdaughters, Danna and her husband, Scott Johnson, Fresno, CA, Michelle Cherry, Fresno, CA, her 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; and her sister, Mary Boyle, Lake Isabella, CA. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Graveside services for Wanda F. Cherry will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at Greenlawn Mortuary and Cemetery, 3700 River Blvd. The Rev. Kenneth Nole, Pastor, will officiate.
