Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 8th at 2:00 p.m., at
Greenlawn Cemetery for Carl Roderick, 85, who passed away April 4th in Bakersfield.
Carl was born May 6, 1919, In Holdenville, OK. He had been a resident of
Kern County for 69 years. He was a Sergrant in the Army and served in Rhineland, Central Europe, Ardennes, Normandy, Northern France and Africa. He was a member for many years of
several square dance and round dance clubs and the Barbers Union. Carl was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Kernville.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Marian; daughter, Marlene Rich and husband, Michael; and grandson, Stephen Rich all of Sacramento and many nieces and nephews.
