Funeral services were held June 15 at the Fisher Funeral Home Chapel for Pamela Joann (Tallant) Dodson. Father Matthew Brown officiated at the services.
Ms, Dodson was born Sept. 28, 1959 in Holdenville to Bill and Jeanette (Daller) Tallant and died June 12 at Holdenville general Hospital at the age of 46.
She grew up and attended school in Holdenville, graduating in 1977. She worked for more than 20 years as a Certified Medical Assistant at Heritage Village Nursing Home in Holdenville and enjoyed baking, planting flowers and gardening.
Preceding her in death was her father, Bill Tallant.
Survivors include her two sons, Matthew Tallant and Jered Tallant, both of Holdenville; her mother Jeannette Stinson of Holdenville; a sister Marsha Jones and husband Jack of Okmulgeee; a brother John Tallant of Holdenville; two nephews, Carl Jones and wife Marsha of Bixby and Jason Jones and wife Jodi of Okmulgee; five great-nieces, Katie Cooper, Kellie Cooper, Anissa Jones, Alisha Jones and Taylor Potter; and one great-nephew, Tanner Jones; and other relatives and friends.
Interment was in the Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Fisher funeral Home of Holdenville.
Pallbearers were John Tallant, Jered Tallant, Travis James, Adam James, Bo Hendrix, Kyle Cofer, Rayray Dyer, and Roger Crawford.
