Graveside services will be held for Nellie Louella Ott, 84, of Holdenville, Okla., at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999 at Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville. Doe McRay will be officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.
Nellie passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 1999 in McAlester, Okla. Nellie was born March 13, 1915 to Rankin and Sadie Wilson in Crescent, Okla. Nellie lived in Holdenville until October, 1997 when she moved to a nursing home in McAlester. She was a member of the East Main Church of Christ and was employed with Ben Franklin and Sharpes Dry goods in Holdenville before retiring.
Nellie married Robert Glenn Ott on March 23, 1937 in Crescent, he preceded her in death in February, 1991. Nellie was also prededed in death by her mother, father and step-mother, Grace; her sister, Helen Swanson and two brothers, Doyle and Cloyd Wilson.
Nellie is survived by her sister, Ona Mae McMillan of Great Bend, Kansas; her brother-in-law, June Swanson of Crescent; children, Judith K. and Joe Chappell of Pittsburg, Okla, Gleen Dale Ott of Ardmore, Okla. and Kenneth leon and Darlene Ott of Norman, Okla.; grandchildren, Duan and Jeffery Cleveland of Moore, Okla., Don Ott of Springfield, Ill., Steven and Sherrie Ott of Ardmore; Greg Brumley of Monte Vista, Colo. and Gary Brumley of McAlester; great-grandaughters, Kerstie Ott of Springfield; Leslie and Stacie Ott of Ardmore and Sammi and Jordan Cleveland of Moore and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
