Robert Anderson Dolton, 79, of Holdenville, Oklahoma, passed away, April 19, 2006. He was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on July 23, 1926, to Clifford Dolton and the former Pearl Ellen Fullerton. He graduated from Holdenville High School then served in the Army during World War II. After being honorably discharged he attended Oklahoma State A& M earning a degree in Animal Husbandry. Mr. Dolton was the 3rd generation owner of Dolton Hardware Company and a rancher for many years. He retired in 2000.

He married Barbara Jo "Bobby" Balch on July 23, 1950 in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife Bobby Dolton, 4 Children: Jane Ellen Whitson and her husband Johnie of Bixby, Oklahoma, Clifford Anderson Dolton and his wife Jana of Edmond, Oklahoma, Dr. William Alan Dolton, of Norman, Oklahoma, James R. Dolton and wife Pauline of Collinsville, Oklahoma. 9 Grandchildren: Matthew Brian Dolton, Jennifer Ellen Dunbar and husband Nicolas, Monty Robert Dolton, Mary Ashlea Dolton, Andrew James Whitson, Sara Elizabeth Dolton, Kathryn Page Dolton, James Bryce Dolton, Emily Ann Dolton. 3 Great-Grandchildren: Justin Tyler Dolton, Katherine Ellen Dunbar, James Nicolas Dunbar.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 22, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at the Barnard Memorial United Methodist Church with interment following at the Holdenville Cemetery.
