Services for Arvis Lahoma (Roberts) Nickell, 80, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Restoration Church. Burial will follow at Bohannon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12 at Criswell Funeral Home.
,br> Arvis was born on August 7, 1941, in Non, Oklahoma to Cleophas and Moranda (Christian) Roberts and moved to her heavenly home on July 8, 2022.
Arvis attended school in Allen, Oklahoma and moved to Ada in her teen years. She married Harvey Nickell, November of 1959 and together they had five children. Arvis was a Christian, a Loving Mother and a homemaker.
Survivors are her five children, Tony Nickell of Brigham City, Utah, Kieth Nickell and wife Gayla of Ada, OK, Nancy Prater and husband Roger of Ada, OK, Don Nickell and wife Andrea of Ada, OK and Dearl Nickell of Ada, OK; seven grandchildren, Buffy, Ryan, Christopher, Patrick, Jordan, Hannah and Clint; 12 great grandchildren and one brother, Marvin Roberts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Rev. Cleo Roberts and two sisters, Opal Speck and Ann Sneed.
