Jason Michael Reece, 52, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday,
June 21, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was born the son of Michael LeRoy Reece
and Mary Ann (Barrows) Reece, on January 18, 1971 in Muskogee.
Jason graduated from Muskogee High School in 1990. He worked as a forklift
operator in a factory. Jason was a member of Fife Indian United Methodist
Church in Muskogee. He was an excellent father and grandfather. Jason
enjoyed heavy metal music, concerts, ghost hunting, storm chasing, and his
Camero.
Jason was preceded in death by his mother; his maternal grandparents, Annie and James Barrows; paternal grandfather, LeRoy Reece and aunt, Michelene Pesantubbee on July 13, 2021.
He is survived by his son, Sabian Michael Reece (Toby Meely) of Muskogee: wife, Monica Tijerina-Reece of Texas; aunts, Cheryl Hensley, Carolyn Moses, Catherine Bolin (Darrell) all of Muskogee, Valerie Orcutt (Mike) of Inola, OK and Lona Carman; sister, Amy Reece-Lynn of Muskogee; grandmother, Wanda Reece (Bill Smith) of Muskogee; granddaughter, Skylar Rey Reece; nieces, Macy Lynn and Ashley Lynn; nephew, Alec Lynn; best friend, Richard Neel; best cousin, Ivan Goad and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2023 at Hunn Funeral Home in Checotah.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Hunn Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Whitefield Cemetery, Whitefield, Oklahoma.
Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Hunn Funeral &
Cremation Service in Checotah, Oklahoma.
