Services for Pauline Frances (Thomas) Bryant Whittiker were held at Mallory-Martin Funeral Chapel in Spiro, Okla., on Saturday, Dec. 27. Interment was in Old Cache Cemetery.
Pauline was born in Spiro, Okla., to Squire Doke Thomas and Ada (Isom) Thomas Richison on April 25, 1924. She passed from this life on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, in Durant, Okla., at the age of 84.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, two spouses and one daughter, Kay Frances Bryant.
Pauline was married to James Robert Bryant, Jr. on July 4, 1942. Together they raised six children. James passed away June 28, 1977. Pauline remarried in January 1984 to Ralph Whittiker. He passed away March 1988.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Collins and husband Clay of Durant, Okla., and Linda Stephens and husband Milton of Spiro, Okla., three sons, Deryl Bryant and wife Sue of Spiro, Okla., Terry Bryant and friend Janet Isaac of Mannsville, Okla., and Perry Bryant and wife Tina of Bixby, Okla., 14 grandchildren, Tina (Bryant) Nolen, Alicia Bryant of Spiro, Okla., Tonya (Collins) Jenkins of Wylie, Texas, Shawn Collins of Durant, Okla., Stefoni (Stephens) Mica of Bixby, Okla., Bryant Stephens of Prairieville, La., Duane Bryant, Darren Bryant, Tulsa, Okla., Nicholas Bryant Owasso, Okla. Joshua James Bryant, Tara Bryant, Tulsa, Okla., Brook (Bryant) Barber, Sand Springs, Okla., Joshua Cole Bryant and Jessica Bryant of Bixby, Okla., and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pauline spent the last three and a half years of her life in Durant in Oak Ridge Nursing Home.
