Obit for Eva

Eva Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, Lilliard Billy Brown, after 58 years of marriage; her parents, step-dad, Dewey Wood; sisters, Lorraine Argo at age 5, Charlene Totty, Naomi Warren, Geneva Neely; step-sister, Hazel Jane Cleveland; and her son-in-law, George Shaw.
Eva Jewel is survived by two daughters, Brenda Shaw of Spiro, and Julia and her husband, Mack Avery, of Weatherford, Texas; and one sister, Dormilee Mullings of Broken Arrow. She is survived by five grandsons, Dr. Mike and Marla Shaw of Sapulpa, Steve and Kim Shaw of Spiro, Mack and Jennifer Avery of Anchorage, Alaska, Brian and Tammy Avery of Weatherford, Texas, and Jason Avery of Austin, Texas. She is survived by 11 great grandchildren, Emily and Evan Shaw of Sapulpa, Matthew, Megan, and Morgan Shaw of Spiro, Mack and John Avery of Anchorage, Julia, Kyllie, Brian, and Katie Avery of Weatherford, Texas.
Her special caretaker was Glenda Perez. Pallbearers will be Steve Shaw, Mack Avery, Mack Avery II, Brian Avery, Jason Avery, Jady Riggs and Leroy Skinner.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro with Dr. Mike Shaw and Brian Avery officiating.
Burial will be in Hoyt Cemetery.
