Johnny Clifford Trickett was born in Stigler, Oklahoma on January 23, 1954 to Kenneth Odell and Elizabeth Jean (Harrell) Trickett. He passed away in Muskogee, Oklahoma on October 9, 2020 at the age of 66.
He is survived by:
His wife Rita (Stancell) Trickett of the home Four children: Jason Trickett of Stigler, OK Ashley Olzawski and husband, Craig, of Stigler, OK Amanda Hare and husband, Allen, of Stigler, OK Amber Dill and Brent Burke of Stigler, OK Three brothers: Jimmy Trickett and wife, Lavata, of Mckinney, Texas Jerry Trickett and wife, Kathy, of Stigler, OK Jeff Trickett and wife, Cindy, of Stigler, OK Eleven grandchildren: Jasper Trickett, Blair (Olzawski) Workman, Brooklyn Olzawski, Macie Hare, Mabrie Hare, Martin Hare, Mattox Hare, Caden Dill, Cass Dill, Kinley Dill, and Gracie Burke. Two great grandchildren: Caston Workman and Carter Workman.
Johnny is also survived by two very special caregivers; his pulmonologist, Dr. Shelbar; and Gwen Hendrix, PA-C.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Jean Trickett.
Johnny was born and raised in Stigler, Oklahoma. He married Rita Kay Stancell on August 1, 1985. He worked as a rancher and shod horses for over 30 years. He worked for KIBOIS Community Action Housing Department for 13 years.
After his retirement from KIBOIS, Johnny raised and traded chickens. He loved to work in his garden and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Perry Free Will Baptist Church.
Viewing will be held from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Mallory Chapel in Stigler; with Family Visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held at Mallory Chapel in Stigler on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Darren Riddle officiating and Justin Price as Eulogist.
Interment will follow at Garland Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
