The funeral for Bryan Gene Carnagey, 45, of Laverne , will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at Catesby United Methodist Church, southwest of Laverne . Burial will be in Speermoore Cemetery, southwest of Laverne . Arrangements are by Myatt Funeral Home, Laverne . Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was born Dec. 30, 1962, in Shattuck to Dean and Joyce Furgason Carnagey and died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at Harper County Community Hospital, Buffalo.

He attended Laverne Schools. He worked in the oilfield industry. He was a member of Apostolic Faith Church and attended Catesby United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Titus Slade Carnagey of Rocky Comfort, Mo.; one daughter, Jasmine Brianna Carnagey of El Paso, Texas; his mother and father, Dean and Joyce Carnagey, both of Laverne ; two sisters, Deana Jo Caragey of Laverne , and Denise Ann Turner of Talledaga, Ala.; his grandparents, Marvin and Laverta Carnagey of Shattuck; 10 grandchildren; and his companion, Raelene Hamaker of Laverne .

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Bryan Carnagey Memorial Fund.
