ENID — Amanda Louise Rogers, the daughter of Rhonda Kornele and K.R. Buss and Danny Rogers, was born January 24, 1974 at Shattuck, Oklahoma.
Amanda grew up in Buffalo, Oklahoma and also in the surrounding community. Amanda attended school in Buffalo and Woodward schools and received her GED at a later time of her life. Amanda then went to Woodward vo-tech center where she studied marketing management. Amanda had a baby boy, Cory Rogers. She lived in other communities, but always thought of Buffalo as her home.
Amanda departed this life on July 25, 2011, at her residence in Houston, TX, at the age of 37 years.
Amanda was preceded in death by her grandparents.
She leaves as her survivors her son, Cory and wife Amy Rogers, along with two step-grandchildren, Jacob and Dusty, all of Texhoma, OK; her mother and father, three sisters, Dawn, Virginia and B.J. and brother, Daniel; a very special friend, Jimmy Quinn; many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011, at the First Baptist Church, Buffalo. Interment will be in the High Point Cemetery , Buffalo, under the direction of Wilkinson FuneralService. Condolences may be made to the family and memorial video viewed at www.wilkinson funeralservice.com.
