The graveside service for Jessie Mae Mitchell, 93, of Hennessey, formerly of Buffalo, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, in High Point Cemetery , Buffalo. The Rev. Ralph Adcock will officiate. Arrangements are by Myatt Funeral Home, Buffalo. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born May 1, 1915, in Afton to Jess E. and Mary George Gregory and died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, in Hennessey.
She attended Afton schools.
She married Charles H. Mitchell July 29, 1932, in Buffalo. He died in 1965.
She was a homemaker, a nurse, a member of Assembly of God Church and active in Hennessey Senior Citizens Center.
Surviving are three sons, Jess Mitchell of Hennessey, Robert Mitchell of Fremont, Calif., and Charles Mitchell of Muskogee; one daughter, Donna Mitchell of Tulsa; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Charles, she was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters and one grandson.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, P.O. Box 749, Buffalo, OK, to Alzheimer's Association.
