The funeral for Cleta Lucielle Gibson, 87, of Buffalo, will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at Myatt Funeral Home Chapel, Buffalo. The Rev. Woody Hamon will officiate. Burial will be in High Point Cemetery , Buffalo. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She was born March 15, 1921, in Teagarden to Remus H. and Stella Stewart Clark and died Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, in Wheatridge, Colo.
She attended Ferry Schools.
She married Glen Wester Gibson Feb. 24, 1943, in Buffalo. He died Sept. 15, 2002.
She was a medication certified nurses aide and a member of United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and the Moose Lodge.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Gene Gibson of Buffalo, and Terry Lynn Gibson of New Port, Ark.; one daughter, Sherry Ann Bartley of Lakewood, Colo.; one brother, Harold Clark of Buffalo; her twin Theta Doty of Enid; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Glen, she was preceded in death by one son, one brother, and one sister.
