BUFFALO - Funeral services for Clara May Garnett, who had lived almost 80 years in the Buffalo area, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Christian Church of Baffalo.
The Rev. Jerry Balke, pastor of the church, will officiate at the rites. Mrs. Garnett will be buried in the Highpoint Cemetery at Buffalo. Arrangements are under the direction of the Seeger Funeral Home.
Mrs. Garnett, 86, died Tuesday afternoon in a Buffalo nursing home.
She was born May 3, 1894, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Annie Leffler. The family came to Oklahoma in 1902 and homesteaded.
She and Eugene John Garnett were married March 12, 1913. They made their home south of Buffalo and lived most of their lives in Harper County.
Mrs. Garnett was a member of the Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 8, 1963.
Survivors include a son, Waldo Garnett of Laverne; two daughters, Geneva (Mrs. Charles) Loomis of Fort Supply and Mrs. Lois Binau, Buffalo; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
