Woodward, Okla. - Floyd "Bus" Couch, 82, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011. He was born August 4, 1928 in Kansas City, MO to Perry Percy and Aynie Mae (Pennell) Couch.
He and Mary Ellen Dart were married on July 28, 1948.
Bus retired from Home Lumber and Supply Company after 46 years of service at age 62. He was awarded a Lifetime Membership to the Mid-America Lumberman's Association. He especially enjoyed playing golf with his golfing buddies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and one brother.
Bus is survived by three children, Jan Smith of Denver, CO; Terry Couch and wife, Marcia, of Dodge City, KS; Sheryl Martin and husband, Troy, of Bourbonnais, IL; five grandchildren, Connie Norwood and husband, Dan, of Richmond, VA; Tyson and Schafer Couch of Dodge City, KS; Andrea Oelger and husband, Nathan, of O�Fallon, MO; Amie Weethee of Kansas City, MO; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Tuesday, June 28, 2011, from 6-8 PM at Myatt-Ashland Funeral Home, 420 Main Street, Ashland, KS. Funeral services will be at Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Ashland. Interment will immediately follow at High Point Cemetery in Buffalo, OK.
