The funeral for Donald B. Cotter, 78, of Buffalo, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, at First Baptist Church, Buffalo. The Rev. Ralph Adcock will officiate. Burial will be in High Point Cemetery , Buffalo. Arrangements are by Myatt Funeral Home, Buffalo. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He was born May 17, 1930, in Buffalo to Rex H. and Gladys Gilchrist Cotter and died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at Mercy Health Center, Oklahoma City. He attended Paruna and Buffalo schools. He married Dorothy Lee Richardson Dec. 25, 1950, in Buffalo. He owned and operated Cotter Oil Co. before retiring. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Buffalo.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy of the home; one daughter, Donna Lea Scott of Sulphur; one brother, Dexter Cotter of Hudson, Kan.; his twin sister, Dottie Fern Barton of Wichita, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
