The funeral for Forrest Bradford "Bud" Bray, 91, of Buffalo, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2009, at First Christian Church, Buffalo. The Rev. Brodie Bliss and Leland Waugh will officiate. Burial will be in High Point Cemetery , Buffalo, with military graveside rites by Buffalo-Laverne American Legion. Arrangements are by Myatt Funeral Home, Buffalo. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and Thursday at the funeral home. He was born May 24, 1918, in Buffalo to Clyde Forrest and Gertrude Schallner Bray and died Sunday, July 19, 2009, at Grace Living Center, Jenks. He was raised and educated in Buffalo, graduating from Buffalo High School in 1936. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a rancher and a member of First Christian Church, American Legion, Professional Rodeo Cow-boys Association and Fighting 49th Battalion 7th Infantry Division.
He married Edna "Florence" Dennis June 5, 1955, in Alva. She died Feb. 28, 2002.
Surviving are two daughters, Patti Conroy and Edith Long, both of Tulsa; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one sister.
