Sherry Dawn Bullington, age 55, of Gould, passed away Monday evening, August 13, 2012, at Mercy Hospital, in Oklahoma City.
Sherry met Mark Bullington, on a blind date, and they were married on January 2, 1981, and spent the next thirty-one wonderful years together before her untimely death. They established their home in Gould, where they have lived since. Sherry immediately began working for the Gould Bank, now known as Stockmans Bank, and has spent the last thirty-one years serving the citizens of Southwest Oklahoma in many positions with the bank. A long-time, faithful member of the Gould Church of Christ, Sherry loved her family and the people she was around. In her spare time she enjoyed going to garage sales, working with stained glass, and sewing.
Preceded in death by her grandparents and her father and mother-in-law, Martin and Crystal Bullington, she is survived by her husband, Mark Bullington; four children, Nicholas Bullington of Jacksonville, AR, Holly Roper and husband Ryan of Edmond, OK, Leslie Ann Bullington and fiancée Alan Beall of Luther, OK and Saylor Bullington of Stillwater, OK; one grandson, Clive Roper; her parents, Jim and Lucy Bell of Mustang, OK; two brothers, Bill Bell and wife Kathleen of Richland Hills, TX and Keith Bell and wife Kathy of Norman, OK along with many other relatives and a host of friends.
