She married Robert Howard Wright on March 6, 1937 and they were married 62 years until his death in 1999. She felt there was never enough time in the day to get everything done that she wanted to do, but she always kept busy trying. She was very grateful to have been able to live her days out in the home her husband built. She possessed a strong will, a sharp mind and an amazing memory until the day she died.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers: J.L. (infant), Roy (Louise), Cecil (Velma), Clyde (Ruth), Harlon and brother-in-law, Bob Morse.
She is survived by two sisters and one sister-in-law, Lucille (Grant) Bible, Jewell Morse, Wanda Cary; three sons; Randall (Fae), Garland (Paulette), Jerry (Susan); one daughter, Sue (Randy) Ball; nine grandchildren: Debbie, Sheri (Pete), Kerry (Kami), Kevin (Courtney), Kyle (Kari), Steven, Nathan, Rusty (Jylian), Darren, Stacy, John (Kristian) and nineteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Lynnie Marvelle Wright will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at the Hollis Church of Christ, with her grandsons officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home, of Hollis.
