Jason Douglas Crockett, 29, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016, in Houston, TX where he was loving life and working as a landscaper.
He was born on May 19, 1987, in Lawton, OK to Ronald Lynn and
Tawana Poteet Crockett. Jason was reared in Duncan, OK until 2002, when the
family moved to Frisco, TX. He graduated from Frisco High School in 2006.
Jason is preceded in death by his mother Tawana; his paternal grandparents
Thomas E. and Mary K. Crockett of Gould OK; his maternal grandparents Douglas
Poteet, Faye Hubanks Poteet Cummins, and Papa Wendell Cummins – all of Hollis.
Jason is survived by his adoring father and stepmother, Ronald Lynn and Ann
Crockett of Houston, TX; his brother, Justin S. Crockett, nephew, Jacob Lynn
Crockett and Jacob’s mother, Jenni Bauer – all of Tulsa, OK. Jason leaves behind
loving aunts and uncles: Terry and Wanda Crockett of Lawton OK; Karen and Donald
Fennerty of Springdale, AR; David and Susie Crockett of Douglas, GA; Sherri and
Dan Daniel of Canyon, TX; his fun loving cousins and friends – all of whom Jason
loved each and every one.
In God’s perfect will, He shared Jason for 29 years with his family, friends and
all of those whom he met. Although he was loving life to the fullest, His Lord
and Savior took his loving spirit and beautiful soul to his heavenly home where
he will rest in everlasting peace.
Visitation and viewing will be held 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, June 23, 2016
at Harmon County Funeral Home in Hollis, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held
on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00 am at Harmon County Funeral Home Chapel in
Hollis with interment to immediately follow with procession to Fairmount
Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home of Hollis.
