Enedina was born in Limestone, Texas on November 3, 1947 to Miguel and Lucia (Tobias) Espinosa. On August 17, 1964 Enedina married Carmen Castaneda and they enjoyed over 44 years of marriage together before Carmen’s death in 2008. She took care of and raised her family and was a member of the Templo La Hermosa in Hollis. Enedina enjoyed singing and listening to Gospel, family gatherings and cooking, playing Mexican Bingo and spending time with her grandkids.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carmen in 2008; four brothers, Raymond, David, Lorenzo, and Moses Espinosa; three sisters, Anita Garcia; Adelina Nunez; Helen Herrera; two grandsons, Frank Angel Castaneda and Gabriel Adam Castaneda.
Enedina is survived by seven sons, Carmen Castaneda Jr., and wife Marsha of Dallas; Sammy Castaneda and wife Anita of Hollis; Roy Castaneda and wife Jeanine of Hollis; Steven Castaneda and wife Teresa of Hollis; Joel Castaneda and wife Amanda of Hollis; Frank Castaneda and wife Rachel of Hollis; Michael Castaneda and wife Samantha of Hollis; three daughters, Diana Walker and husband James of Hollis; Melinda Reinhardt and husband J. P. of Hollis; Cindy Mercer of Hollis; two brothers, Mike Espinosa and wife Yolanda of Texas; Eloy Espinosa and wife Mary Jane of Kansas; four sisters, Isabel Mastes of Florida; Tina Acevdo and husband Jose of Texas; Pastor Sally Saldana and husband Frank of Gould; Cenaida Espinosa of Texas; thirty seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
There will be a Memorial service at 6:00 pm, Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Templo La Hermosa in Hollis with Pastor Sally Saldana officiating.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Harmon County Funeral Home Chapel in Hollis with Pastor Sally Saldana officiating.
Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery in
Hollis under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home of
Hollis.
