Today we celebrate the life of Lisa Jane Cantu, also known as "Liza Jane, Tia Lisa," and her favorite title "MiMi" She was born on August 29, 1963 in Hollis, Oklahoma. She went to heaven on July 13, 2020. She was greeted at Heavens gate by her fathers, Berrie Perkins and Murrell Myers; brother Johnny Perkins and grandparents, Gladys and Eddie Perkins, and Eugene and Neoma Babb.
She is survived by numerous friends, an abundance of family, countless nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters: Eddie Perkins, and wife Wendy of Hollis, Oklahoma, Jimmy Perkins, of Childress, Texas, Clifford Myers of Lexington, Oklahoma, Teresa Bohanan and husband, Ray, of Bethany, Oklahoma, Jean Perkins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tammy Felder of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kristi Swindell of Edmond, Oklahoma; Mother, Jane Myers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Husband, Danny Cantu of Lowell, Arkansas; Sons, Daniel Cantu and Blake Cantu of Lowell, Arkansas; Her "Little Miss Sunshine", Crystal Harden of Lowell, Arkansas, and her beloved grandbabies, Adyson, Jaxson, Hadley, and Maverick.
Lisa never met a stranger. She loved her family and grandbabies dearly. She was a caring and loving woman and would do anything for anyone. She loved cooking for her family, listening to her worship music, talking on the phone for hours, even though she would fall asleep on them. She loved spending time with her grandbabies, coloring, playing games, and being goofy. She loved sending out cards for every occasion to all her family. You could guarantee if there was a special event in your life, there would be a card in the mail from her. She impacted the lives of so many and will forever have a special place in our hearts. Like Lisa, our sister, our mom, our MiMi, would always say "I love you more!"
