Mary Argo Lee, 77, passed away May 16, 2014, at Morrilton, AR. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Argo and Dr. Bill Brown officiating.The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, May 19, 2014 at Harmon County Funeral Home in Hollis, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at Dryden Cemetery under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home in Hollis.
Mary Beth was born June 27, 1936 in the Ron community to Tommie and Alverda Pennington Williams. She attended the Ron Schools and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She has lived in Harmon County all her life. Mary married Paul Argo May 8, 1955 in Gould. Mary was a homemaker, a cook at the Westview Boys Home for 23 years, enjoyed working with children, and taught children’s Sunday school for 27 years at Faith Baptist. She married John Lee March 19, 1999.
Mary is survived by her son David Argo and wife Lora of Paden, OK; seven grandchildren: Stephen Argo, Robert Guevara, Scotty Guevara, Kyle Monette, Philessia Argo, Codi and Jessica Seaton; numerous great-grandchildren; three brothers: Thomas Williams of Everett, WA, James Williams of Ardmore, OK, Lynn Williams of Tulsa OK; two sisters; Betty Ragsdale of Altus, OK, and Kay Gurley of Morrilton, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Argo in 1995 and John Lee in 2001; one daughter, Shelley Guevara in 1988; and one granddaughter, Tiffany Nicole Guevara in 1988.
