Mark Lee Garner, age 53, passed away at his residence on Monday, May 23, 2011. Mark was born in Altus, Oklahoma, on September 4, 1957, to Don Curtis and Wanda Maxine (Leathers) Garner. Growing up in Harmon County, Mark attended Hollis School, graduating in 1975. Mark loved Southwest Oklahoma, with the hot dry wind and the simple life. He enjoyed early morning drives while watching for deer and turkey and being on the farm that had been in the Leathers Family for years.

Preceded in death by his parents and a special uncle, Danny Leathers.

He is survived by two sons, Dustin Garner of Alvin, Texas and Chris Garner of Washington State; a granddaughter, Mikael Rianne Garner of Amarillo, Texas; two sisters, Donna Click and husband Damon of Cleburne, Texas and Patti Grota and husband Phil of Boerne, Texas along with several nieces, cousins other relatives and many friends.

Memorial services for Mark Garner will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Dryden Cemetery Chapel.
