Dulan Mae Crosnoe, age 89, of Hollis, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 2, 2012, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, in Altus.
Mrs. Crosnoe was born in Hollis, Oklahoma on May 30, 1922, to Jessie Lee and Cora (Tucker) Pendergraft. After graduating from Hollis High School, she attended Oklahoma A&M College, in Stillwater. On December 16, 1943, she married the love of her life, Carl Crosnoe. Dulan later worked in Kansas City, at an aircraft factory, while Carl entered the military during WWII. They later returned to Hollis and made their home, where she lived until her death. A longtime member of the Church of Christ, Mrs. Crosnoe, worked as a cashier for Beck’s Grocery, enjoyed cooking, sewing and was a member of several civic clubs over the years.
Preceded in death by her parents, one son, Cody Lynn Crosnoe, in 1984, and three brothers, Delbert Pendergraft, Dewey Pendergraft and Doyle Pendergraft, she is survived by her husband Carl, of the home, in Hollis; one son, Thad Crosnoe and wife Irene, of Altus; three grandchildren, Cyle Crosnoe and wife Whitney of Hollis; Brandi Story and husband Shane of Tuttle and Leah Logan and husband Jeremy of Tuttle; two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Crosnoe, Cash Story and Baby Girl Logan, due in August, along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Dulan Crosnoe will be at 10 a.m., Friday, May 4, 2012, at the Hollis Church of Christ with Bruce Sexton officiating. Interment will follow at Dryden Cemetery under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home of Hollis.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be given to the Dryden Cemetery Fund in memory of Dulan Crosnoe.
