Cyle Lynn Crosnoe, age 40, of Hollis, passed away Sunday,
March 20, 2016, at Harmon Memorial Hospital, in Hollis.
Cyle was born in Hollis, Oklahoma, on February 17, 1976, to Cody Lynn and Vicky
Lynn (Smith) Crosnoe. A 1994 graduate of Hollis High School, Cyle spent the next
ten years managing a potato farm in Colorado. Leaving Colorado, he enrolled in
Southwestern Oklahoma State University, at Weatherford, where he received his
bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation Management and his master’s degree in
Community Counseling. On July 16, 2008, he married Whitney Shipp and to this
union was born, the love of Cyle’s life, Brooklyn Crosnoe. Following graduation,
Cyle worked at Foss Lake, as a counselor, for the Adventure Program, as an
administrator for Redrock, in Clinton, as a triage counselor for Redrock, in
Norman and later as a family counselor at Plantation Village, in Altus. In 2011,
they moved to the family farm near Hollis and he began full-time farming and
ranching in 2013. In his spare time, Cyle loved to hunt, fish and ride four
wheelers, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his father and grandparents, he is survived by his
daughter, Brooklyn Crosnoe of Lawton; his mother, Vicky Crosnoe of Hollis; two
brothers, Cary Mills of Bryan College Station, Texas and Kevin Mills of Hollis;
two nieces, Meghan Mills of Lubbock, Texas and Kayleigh Mills of Amarillo,
Texas; three nephews, Cathan Mills of Bryan College Station, Texas, Kreede Mills
and wife Faith of Hollis and Kadyn Cyle Mills of Hollis; one great niece, Kendra
Mills of Hollis along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Cyle Crosnoe will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2016,
at the First Baptist Church, with Brother Jeff Dill officiating. Interment will
follow at the Dryden Cemetery under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home,
of Hollis.
The family will greet friends at Harmon County Funeral Home on Tuesday evening,
March 22, 2016, from 6 until 8 p.m.
