Paula Dawn Thomas, 50, former longtime resident of Mangum, Oklahoma passed away on July 21, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City surrounded by her loving family.
Paula was born on
July 31, 1968 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Jerry Wayne Sadler and Linda (Hughes)
Sadler. Paula graduated from Mangum High School in 1986. After high school, she
attended nursing school in Burns Flat, Oklahoma where she earned her nursing
degree. Paula loved caring for people and worked in long-term health
for twenty years. Her passion for caring for the elderly and people in general
shined through her work. Paula also enjoyed fishing, dancing and was always the
life of the party.
Paula married Gary Thomas on May 20, 2006 in Cache, Oklahoma. They moved to
Altus, Oklahoma in 2011. Together they traveled the country doing long haul
deliveries.
Paula is preceded in death by her Father, Jerry Wayne Sadler; and sister,
Deborah Ruth Sadler.
Paula is survived by her husband Gary Thomas; Mother, Linda (Hughes) Sadler;
Sons, Colton Bull, and Chase Bull; Daughter, Colby Bull; Step-children, Braxton
Thomas, and Carry Thomas; Brother, David Sadler; and sister, Katrina Sadler
Holle; Grandchildren, Presley Bull and Iver Bull; Niece, Cheyenne Trayler. As
well as many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019
at Greer Funeral Home in Mangum.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m. on
Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Mangum, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Mangum, Oklahoma
