Cecil “Spider” Nall was born July 13, 1925, in Altus, Oklahoma to Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Nall. He passed away at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, in Altus, on Tuesday afternoon, February 26, 2013, with his family by his side.
Cecil attended school in Altus. He was drafted into the U.S. Army where he served in WWII. Cecil was an over-the-road truck driver for majority of his life. He drove for Republic Gypsum for 26 years before his retirement in 1989.
He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and watching baseball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Mary Jane Nall, a brother Everett and, two sisters, Opal and Goldie, four son-in-laws, Jr. Duke, Don Branden, Doug Bonds and Roger East and one great granddaughter Baylee Forester.
He is survived by his loving family: Donna Branden of Frederick OK , Neil and Tina Anderson of Burkburnett, Texas, Floyd and Denise Nall of Altus, D'Anne Nall of Mangum, Janice and Farris Berryhill of Altus, Judy and Billy Graham of Altus, and James and Yolanda Nall of Norman, OK. He had 28 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Graveside services for Cecil Nall will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Roselawn Cemetery, in Mangum, with Ryan Morris of the Duke First Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum.
