Born to Horace and Sarah (Lasher) Amick in DuBois Pennsylvania and passed away in Chickasha at the age of 89 years. 

She attended and graduated High School in Los Angeles. She was married to Casto Mervin Callen on July 24, 1943 in Los Angeles and they moved back to Mangum after WWll. 
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son Ralph Callen : 2 grandsons Todd Callen and Paul Trosper; and 2 brothers, Earl and Harold Amick.

Survivors include 5 sons, Dewain Callen and wife Carolyn of Coppell, TX, Dale Callen and wife Virgie of Midland, TX, Ron Callen and wife Cathy of Lawton, OK, Jim Callen and wife Sharon of Chickasha, OK and Hal Callen and wife Donna of Wichita, KS; a daughter Janett and husband Larry Trosper of Denton, TX; a daughter in law, Ann Callen of Lawton, OK; 16 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Services for Casto Callen were held Tuesday May 22, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Mangum.
 
Casto Mervin Callen was born September 30, 1913 in Milburn, Oklahoma to Jess and Gertrude Callen and passed from this life on Friday, May 18, 2007 at Grace Living Center, Mangum, Oklahoma at the age of 93.
 
 He attended school at White Flat and Graduated from high school in 1933. Casto pursued a successful career in farming and ranching his entire life. He never gave up his love for the land and continued to garden and care for his yard until illness prevented it.
 
He spent a short time during his youth in California where he met and married Vera Pauline Amick in Los Angeles on July 24, 1943. They returned to the Mangum area in 1945 to raise their ever growing family on the farm. He is remembered as a loving husband, father grandfather and friend.
 
Survivors include his wife Vera of the home; Sons Dewain and wife Carolyn of Amarillo, Dale and wife Vergie of Midland Tx, Ron and wife Cathy of Lawton, Ok, Jim and wife Sharon of Chickasha; Ok and Hal and wife Donna of Wichita, Ks; One daughter, Janett and husband Larry Trosper of Denton, Tx ; daughter in-law Anna Callen of Lawton, Ok.;sixteen grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
 
Preceding him in death was  his parents, his first wife, Lorene Lynch, his infant sister Alberta, brothers Rosco, Arzo (Bob) and Murray, son Ralph and grandsons Todd Callen and Paul Trosper .
