Rose Naomi Adams, 94, died Thursday at the Mangum Nursing Center.
Services are set for 10 a.m. Monday at the Baptist Church in Reed with the Rev.
Bill Mosley, pastor of the Ashmore Baptist Church, Loop, Texas officiating.
Burial will be at the Reed Cemetery under the direction of Greer Funeral Home,
Mangum.
Mrs. Adams was born Jan. 29, 1898 in Texas to David and Hester Goldsmith Henson.
She moved to Greer County in 1920.
She married Jesse Washington Adams on Jan. 2, 1916 in Sayre.
Mrs. Adams was a homemaker in the Reed and Sulphur communities for many years.
She was a member of the Sulphur Home Extension Club for more than 50 years.
Survivors include a daughter and son in law, June and Winifred Allen, Reed; a
son and daughter in law , Delaware and Lois Adams, Mangum; eight grandchildren,
20 great-grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband Jesse, in 1983. Also 10
brothers and sisters died before her.
