Alice Jane (Armstrong) Morris, of Richmond, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 30, 2012.

Mrs. Morris was on born November 15, 1917, near Granite, Oklahoma and was a retired school teacher, homemaker. She lived much of her adult life in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She moved to Richmond, Virginia in 2004, and was a member of Westover Hills United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Emily Lewellyn; her father, George Armstrong; her stepfather, O.D. Lewellyn and her sister, Wilma Warner. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Cecil Morris; her three children, Max Morris, Mary Kay Morris and Ann Boelzner; four nieces, Juanita Malone, Mary Miller, Alice Calhoun, and Rose Barrett; her nephew, Harry Warner and five grandchildren, Claire, Emily, Thomas, Rebecca, and Aurelia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Richmond, 4600 Cox Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060. The family would like to express its thanks to the staff of The Hermitage in Richmond for their extraordinary compassion and care.

Graveside services for Alice Morris will be at 10 a.m., December 15, 2012, at Granite City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Granite.
