Celebration of life services for William Harold Morgan, Sr. 88, Wakita resident, will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 1, 2022 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 2, 2022 in the Wakita Catholic Church. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
William was born on December 28, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of William, Jr. and Lillian Semrad Morgan, and passed away peacefully on August 26, 2022 in Wakita. William married Barbara on August 23, 1953, moving to Sand Creek in 1958. William retired from farming and went to work for Johnston’s Seed Company for seven years then retired for good. He was a member of the Wakita Catholic Church. William loved his grandkids more than anything. He was always outside with them.
William is survived by his son, Billy Morgan of Wakita; grandkids, Ariel Merritt and William Morgan, V; sister, Joan.
William was preceded in passing by his wife Barbara, daughter Cindy and his parents.
