Bryan Harry Johnson was born in Enid, Oklahoma, on May 7, 1963, to Dean and Lorene Johnson. He died suddenly on October 27, 2016, at the age of 53.

Bryan spent his childhood on the farm and graduated from Wakita High School. He attended OSU with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. He worked in the clothing industry, managing women's clothing departments at SAKS, Dillards and Steinmart.

Bryan loved people and made friends easily. The last few years were spent helping to care for his dad at the Community Health Center in Wakita. Bryan was a wonderful partner, son, brother, uncle and friend. He had a special place in his heart for his great nieces and nephews.

Bryan is survived by his partner of 22 years, Mitchell Poore of Enid; his parents, Dean and Lorene Johnson of Wakita; brother, Rodney Johnson and wife, Ramona; sister, Cindy McCray and husband Butch of Manchester; as well as nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

He will be missed, but will be forever in our hearts.

Funeral service will be Monday, October 31, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Wakita, with burial at Wakita Cemetery. Viewing will be Sunday, October 30, 2016, from 2-7 p.m., with the family present from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc., of Medford.
