Wakita Cemetery


The funeral for Anna Doris Edsall, 86, of Arlington, Texas, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wakita Christian Church. Burial will be in Wakita Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield, Texas, with local arrangements by Prairie Rose Funeral Home, Anthony, Kan. Visitation will be today at Prairie Rose Funeral Home, Anthony.

She was born Jan. 4, 1919, at Sand Creek to Zelma and Will Cavin and died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, in Arlington, Texas.

She married Ralph Edsall Jan. 1, 1938. They made their home in Sand Creek where they farmed for 53 years.

She was a member of Fairview and Wakita Christian Church, where she played piano and organ. She was a member of Eastern Star. She moved to Texas in 1996.

Surviving are one daughter Ann Edsall Northcutt and one son John Edsall, both of Mansfield, Texas; and four grandchildren.

Besides her husband Ralph, she was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters.
