Steve Dwain Cowherd, age 60, entered into eternal rest, March 7, 2018 in Enid, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Marjorie Cowherd. Steve is survived by his wife Denise Cowherd, Wakita; Steve W. Cowherd and wife Alicia, Enid; Jason L. Cowherd and wife Andrea, Wakita; six grandchildren, Koby, Hunter, Laken, Ella, Tegan & Haizlie.

Steve was born July 31, 1957 to Roy and Marjorie Cowherd in Enid, Oklahoma. Steve met his one and only true love Denise Morrow. They were married May 14, 1977 in Enid, Oklahoma in the First Baptist Church. They just celebrated their 40th anniversary this last summer. Steve enjoyed being a diesel technician all his life. He worked in Enid, Wakita, Anthony, Kansas. Most recently at Prairie Land Partnership for many years. He grew up farming and enjoyed it for life. He loved spending time with his family.

Visitation is 6:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, March 12, 2018 at the First Christian Chuch, Wakita with Rev. Jeff Enabnit and Rev. Gary Lillie officiating with interment following in Wakita Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for heart research
