ENID — Service for Betty Sue (Butler) Barwick, 67, of Wakita, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2012, at First Baptist Church, Wakita. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, Okla.

Betty was born Sept. 19, 1944, to Martin Roy and Lesta Nadina (Bell) Butler in Okmulgee, Okla., and passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012, in Wakita, Okla.

She was united in marriage to Stacy Franklin Barwick on Oct. 19, 1964, in Beggs, Okla.

Betty graduated from Beggs High School in 1963.

She was a certified nurse and medication aide for more than 30 years, retiring from Wakita Community Health Center in October 2009.

Betty enjoyed reading and crocheting. Each of her grandchildren were blessed to receive a blanket crocheted especially for them. She also enjoyed gathering with family and could always be counted on for her delicious fried chicken, deviled eggs and amazing banana pudding.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Billy and David.

Betty will be deeply missed by her husband, Stacy of the home; son, George and wife Kim of Wakita; daughter, Stacie and husband Greg of Virginia Beach, Va.; son, Frank of Wakita; grandchildren, Niki, Krystal and Brandi; brothers and sisters, Virginia, Norma Jean, June, Joy Gail, Merita Kay, Martin and Daniel; the Butler and Barwick family; and a host of other relatives and friends.
