Norma Aline Haws-Rackley funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2016, at Jefferson United Methodist Church, with interment in Wakita Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

The funeral service for Norma Aline Haws Adams, 83, of Medford, is 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016, at the Jefferson Methodist Church, with Michelle McCarty officiating. Burial will follow in the Wakita Cemetery, under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Pond Creek.
Norma was born April 9, 1933, at her grandparent's farm home in Grant County, to Clint and Ada Mae Wheeler Haws, and died Monday, May 23, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid.
She was a graduate of Jefferson School, and then attended Enid Business College.
Following employment at Beech Aircraft in Wichita, she moved to California and was married to Rod Adams. To this union was born three children, Rodney Vaughn, Aubrey Van, and Lesley Val.
After 25 years of raising her family in California, Norma returned to Grant County to live in Medford in 1976. She worked for local businesses, until being elected to serve as Grant County Clerk in 1988.
Upon retiring in 1996, she loved keeping up with her family and friends, and enjoyed her crossword puzzles and birdwatching. Later, Norma researched her heritage to become a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a designation which gave her great pride.
Surviving are her sons, Vaughn and his wife, Pam, of Apple Valley, Calif.; and Aubrey and his wife, Patti, of Herndon, Va.; daughter, Lesley Adams-Wilborn and her husband, Frank, of Broken Arrow; and grandson, James Henry, of Herndon, Va. Also surviving are step-grandchildren, Steven Wilborn, of Wisconsin; and Chelsea Wilborn, of Oklahoma; and foster grandchild, Angela Trionfi, of California; as well as cousins, nephews, nieces and their families.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Clint and Ada Mae; her brother, Gene Haws; and twin baby granddaughters, Elsa and Alison.
Viewing is available at Wilson Funeral Home and the casket will be open at the church until service time.
Memorials of the donor's choice may be made through the funeral home.
