A mass of Christian burial for Willa Frances Kretchmar, 91, of Medford, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Medford. The Rev. Mike Wheelahan will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Medford. Arrange-ments are by Hills-Ely Funeral Home, Medford. A prayer vigil will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
She was born March 24, 1915, in Gibbon, to Lewis Francis Smith and Anna Pfalser Smith and died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, in Servant Living Center, Medford.
She graduated from Wakita High School in 1933, and on Aug. 1, 1935, she married Robert David Kretchmar.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Mary Altar Society, Valley Center Extension Club and a member of the Grange for years.
Surviving are one son, L.D. Kretchmar of Medford; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, one brother and one granddaughter.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church building fund or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Division, through Hills-Ely Funeral Home, P.O. Box 280, Medford, OK 73759.
