April 29, 1930 - August 31, 2021

Ramona was born April 29, 1930 in Kremlin, OK to Ernest and Emma Zelenka Walker and passed from this life on August 31, 2021. She attended school in several states as the family moved many times. She graduated from Medford High School in 1948. After graduation, she went to live with her grandmother, Anna Zelenka, while attending Enid Business College. She worked at Herzberg's in Enid, OK and Boeing in Wichita, KS.

She married her high school sweetheart, Bob Kilian, on August 20, 1952 at St Mary's Church in Medford.

They were blessed with 6 children. Bob was a farmer and Ramona enjoyed being a farmer's wife. All of the harvest crew loved her home cooked meals. She dearly loved her children and grand children and brought her entire family together many times a year with her amazing family dinners. It was always an extravagant spread. Everyone's favorites were her fresh fried chicken, which she raised herself, chicken strips, fried okra, roast and angel food cake with caramel frosting. She loved flowers, gardening, sharing her harvest with others, canning, and taking her kids fishing. Ramona was truly a selfless person, putting everyone's needs ahead of her own with a smile on her face.

Survivors include her three daughters, Shirley Simpson and husband, Randy, of White Settlement, Texas, Sharon Perkins and husband, Curtis, of Medford, and Rita Cody of Eufaula, OK; two sons, Brian and wife, Patricia, of Morris, OK, and Darrell of Bartlesville, OK; one brother, Ernie Walker and wife, Eleanor of Stoneham, Massachusetts; and one sister, Judy Lipsett and husband, Eugene of Garland, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her parents, Ernest and Emma Walker; her sister, Deloris Walker Kilian, and her son, Dennis.

Funeral mass for Ramona will be Thursday, Sept 9th at 10:30 am at St Mary's Catholic Church in Medford. Rosary will be Wednesday, Sept 8th at 7 pm at the church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery with arrangements by Stittsworth Funeral Service. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.

The family has selected St. Mary's Catholic Church Building Fund or Hospice, Circle of Love as appropriate for memorial donations. Please make checks payable to your selection.
