The funeral for Keith Harlan Webster, 69, of Deer Creek, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church of Lamont. Steve Hamm will officiate. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery of Medford. Arrangements are by Hills-Ely Funeral Home of Medford.
The casket will be open at the funeral home 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and will not be open at the church.
He was born April 10, 1936, in Blackwell to Ralph and Grace Reid Webster and died Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at the family home near Deer Creek.
He graduated from Lamont High School in 1954 and attended Oklahoma A--M College. He married Sandra Anna Casford May 22, 1960, at Lamont Christian Church. He served in the Army and the National Guard and later served 10 years on the Deer Creek-Lamont school board. He was a member of Lamont Lions Club and past president of young farmers group. He helped with the Lamont FFA chapter and was chosen as an Honorary Chapter Farmer.
He was a longtime member of Deer Creek United Methodist Church until its closing, then he transferred membership to Lamont Christian Church. He was a farmer in the Deer Creek area for more than 50 years.
Surviving are his wife, Sandy, of the home; two daughters, Tammy Jantzen of Medford and Stacey Croft of Cherokee; one son, Doug Webster of Deer Creek; three brothers, James and Glenn Webster, both of Lamont, and Kenneth Webster of Oklahoma City; and eight grandchildren.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma in Ponca City.
