January 16, 1944 - May 30, 2008A memorial service for Shirley Lucille Troutman, 64, of Enid will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2008, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Carl Roberts, minister of Harvest Time Worship Center, officiating. At her request, Shirley was cremated under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Shirley was born Jan. 16, 1944, in Claremore, OK, the daughter of Roy and Altha Jester Mathes and died early Friday morning, May 30, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She married Kenneth Troutman Dec. 11, 1961, in Chandler, OK. They moved to Enid in 1970, where they raised their children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Kenneth, of the home; son, Ricky and wife Vonette of Enid; daughters, Teresa and husband Rigoberto Chavez and Tina Troutman, all of Enid; grandchildren, Nikki and husband Monti Dunlap, Juan Chavez, Kayla Chavez, Kenny Troutman, KaSandra Troutman, all of Enid; great-grandchildren, Aliza Troutman, Rylyn Dunlap, Xandra Dunlap, Juan Josive Chavez, all of Enid; sisters, Patsy Wagner of Enid, Ruby Hardin of Midwest City; brother, Harold Mathes of Colorado; brother-in-law, Paul Alcorn of Enid; special friends, Rosemary and Don McCarron of Enid; numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Troutman; grandson, Austin Lee Skoda; son-in-law, Michael Skoda; sisters, Mary Alcorn and Faye Thurman; and her parents.
A special thank you to Dr. Rivers, St. Mary’s Staff and Dr. Whitson. Memorials may be made in Shirley’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the fund.

April 10, 1942 - July 15, 2021A memorial service for Kenneth Vern Troutman will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with Johnie Rauschenberg officiating. Cremation and service arrangements by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born April 10, 1942, to James and Nancy (Feather) Troutman and died July 15, 2021. He was a member of the Cherokee Nation.
He worked in the oilfield before starting his career in construction. Kenneth started K&S Builders with Steve Vendetti. One of his greatest joys was Dirt Track Racing. He was a car owner until 1983, then became a spectator watching his favorite drivers at Enid Speedway.
Kenneth was an excellent father, as Teresa and Ricky both worked with him since they could walk, and he taught them so much about construction, loyalty, and friendship.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Ricky (Vonette) Troutman; daughter, Teresa (Rigoberto) Chavez; Grandchildren, Nicole Dunlap, Kayla (Sam) Strecker, Kenneth (Sarah) Troutman, KaSandra (Steven) Marshall; Great-grandchildren, Aliza, Rylyn, Xandra, Juan, Aidyn, Kaisyn, Stryker, Austin, Mia, Lorac, Mia; siblings, Janis Neale, Dee Hubbard, Glenda Peal, Darinda Clements, Peggy Troutman, Patsy Wagner, Pete Gootee, Ray and wife Martha Gootee, Ray Jones; Special niece, Diane (Larry) Daugherty; and many other family and friends; Cherished friends, Steve (Cindy) Vendetti, Carolyn Beebe, Johnie (Paula) Rauschenberg, Adam Boys (Joe and Kenny), and MaKayla Rauschenberg (His little Lady Driver).
He is preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Opal; wife, Shirley; 2 daughters, Cynthia and Tina; son-in-law, Michael Skoda; Grandsons, Austin Skoda, Juan Chavez; 3 sisters; and 5 brothers.
A special thank you to the Doctors at Pulmonology Associates of Enid, especially Dr. Brian Whitson, Nurse Terry Chester, Staff at Integris Bass, Staff at Hospice Circle of Love, especially his Nurse Terri, and Aide Bridgett.
