There will be two memorial services for Mark A. Tallent, 55, of Oklahoma City. The first will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at University Christian Church, 616 Bud Wilkinson Dr., Norman. The Rev. James Taylor will officiate. The second will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at Hills-Ely Funeral Home Chapel, Medford. The Rev. Craig VanDeburgh will officiate. Burial of cremains will be in Rosemound Cemetery, Medford.
He was born July 13, 1953, in Woodward to Donald M. and Virginia Lucille Judd Tallent and died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at his home.
He attended school in Taloga and graduated from Medford High School in 1971. He earned a bachelor of libral arts degree from Oklahoma State University. He worked for the Corporation Commission, Thomas Keilhorn and Associates, polling and surveys and did contract work for Oklahoma Education Assoc-iation, serving as deputy director of the petition drive. He was a member of First Christian Church, Medford.
Surviving are two brothers, Donald L. Tallent of Littleton, Colo., and Larry Tallent of Norman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
