Wichita, KS-Funeral service for Jan Hamilton Stewart will be Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Medford. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery, Medford.

Jan was born August 27, 1954 to DeLawrence and Emma Jean Carrier Hamilton in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life on December 29, 2017 in Wichita, Kansas. She grew up in Medford, Oklahoma, graduating with the class of 1972(?). She married Randy Beggs and to this union two children, Travis and Melanie, were born.

On May 25, 1997 she married Patrick Stewart, and they made their home in Wichita, Kansas. She was a member of Medford First Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, and she loved her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Jill.

Jan is survived by her husband, Patrick; her mother, Emma Jean Hamilton; sister, Sherry Kimber; children, Travis Beggs and Melanie Kamm; four grandchildren, Ryan Kamm, Trevor Beggs, Kathryn Beggs and Tucker Beggs.
