Brenda Louise (Bowles) Schmitz December 25, 1944-December 19, 2022
Celebration of life services for Brenda Louise Schmitz, 77, Medford resident, will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the First Methodist Church with Pastor Kateena Aebi officiating. Committal prayers and interment will be in Rosemound Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Stittsworth Funeral Service, Medford.
Brenda was born on December 25, 1944 in Enid, the daughter of Dwight Kenneth Bowles and Thelma Irene Oneth Bowles, and passed away suddenly on Monday, December 19, 2022 in Tulsa. She was raised in Pond Creek, graduating from Pond Creek High School with the class of 1963. Brenda attended Beauty College, then moved to Springfield, Missouri where she received her RN. She later moved to Waterloo, Iowa,, back to Medford where she has lived since 1972. Brenda is a member of the Medford Methodist Church and worked in Medford as a hairdresser for many years. She is survived by Children, Mark and Patti Schmitz of Broken Arrow; son, Phil and Debbie Schmitz of Meridian, Kansas; Lance and Ashley Schmitz of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren. sister, Sue Boggs of Lamont, Oklahoma. Brenda was preceded in passing by her husband Gary Schmitz , and sister, Carolyn Shafer. Brenda requested memorial donation checks be made payable to the Medford School.
