Funeral services for Robert W. Koehn, 87 Enid resident, will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Willow Road Christian Church with Pastor Carrell Still officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Rosemound Cemetery, Medford, under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Mr. Koehn was born on October 22, 1930 in Orienta, Oklahoma, the son of Albert Jacob and Edna Eck Koehn and passed away peacefully on June 16, 2018 in Enid. He was raised and educated in Taloga, Oklahoma, graduating Valedictorian from Taloga High School with the class of 1948. Robert married Lovada Blumer in Taloga on June 2, 1950. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. Robert returned to Taloga, moving to Medford in 1958 where they lived 38 years. Robert worked for Adams Equipment in Medford and a member of First Christian Church of Medford. They moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 1996 where he worked for the Bella Vista Townhouse Association. They moved to Enid in 2014. They were charter members of Highland Christian Church of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and in Enid, attended Willow Road Christian Church. Robert enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing, bowling, and singing in the church choir.and in Medford, he was on the Town Board and Medford JC’s.

Survivors include his wife, Lovada of Enid; son, David and wife Betty Koehn of Oklahoma City; daughter, Mavis and husband Austin Johnson of Enid; one grandson, Joshua Robert and wife Annie Koehn of Houston, Texas.

Robert was preceded in passing by his parents and two brothers, Melvin and Maynard.

The family has selected OMRF, Alzheimer's Division as appropriate for memorial donations.
