Born on August 25, 1932, Donald J. Cink passed from this life on March 9, 2018. Don graduated from Medford High School in 1950. He then attended Oklahoma A&M. Don married his late wife, Donna M. Waldie in 1952. In 1953, he was drafted into the U.S. Army. In 1955 Don and Donna returned to Medford where they farmed and raised three children.
Don was a sixty year Master Mason. He also served as a past president of the Rosemound Cemetery Association and as an officer of the Chamber of Commerce.
Don married Barbara Hart on August 11, 1991. Upon retirement, Don worked part time and enjoyed visiting his twelve grandkids and twenty great-grandkids.
Don was a member of the United Methodist Church in Jefferson and Medford.
Don is survived by his wife, Barbara Hart-Cink; daughter, Kathy (Cink) Flaherty, son, Greg Cink, and sister, Dorothy Gile; twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Don was preceded in death by his late wife, Donna (Waldie) Cink; son, Steve Cink, and infant grandson, James Patrick Flaherty.
Memorials may be made to the Rosemound Cemetery Association or The American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
Funeral service for Don will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Medford United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Medford. Viewing will be Monday 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
