Hattie Martha Allday, 77, dies at Medford
Medford – Hattie Martha Allday, 77, died Thursday at Medford.
She was born October 6, 1878 in Berlin, Germany, came to the United States with her parents in 1893 and settled in Chicago, Illinois. In 1895 they came to Oklahoma and lived on a farm southeast of Medford. She was married in 1897 to John Allday and lived northeast of Medford until the time of her death.
Mrs. Allday was confirmed at the age of 14 and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Blackwell.
Survivors are one son, William C. All day, Cushing; five daughters, Martha Ebel, Chouteau, Margaret Wilson, Anna Keller, Lillian Mead and Helen Howard, all of Medford; 11 grandchildren and 14 great – grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Anna Stockel, Fairland, one brother, Leo Richter, Enid.
Funeral services will be 4 PM Sunday in the Christian church at Medford with the Rev. Edwin Heyne officiating. Burial will be in the Rosemound Cemetery at Medford.
