Richland Cemetery



Medford – Eleonora V. Unbehauen, 85, died Monday at the Medford Nursing Home. The funeral will be at 2 PM Thursday at Hills Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Bushnell officiating. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery.

She was born January 22, 1902, on a farm northeast of Medford to Gus and Hannah Unbehauen and attended rural schools. She later graduated from Wichita Business College and was employed with Shaw's Beauty and Barber Supply there until retirement. In the early 1970s, she moved to Medford. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Wichita, and active in several organizations of well as doing volunteer work.

Survivors include three sisters, Thelma Epling and Opal Myers, both of Medford, and Neva Dukeshire of Miami, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Medford Nursing Home.
