A Celebration of Life service for Rosalie H. Sharkey, 89, of Enid, is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Randy Mitchell will officiate. Interment will be at Pond Creek Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Rosalie was born November 20, 1926 to Harley G. Hendrickson & Mary Ella Coker in Nowata, OK and departed this life Friday, February 5, 2016.

She graduated Alluwe High School in 1944. On October 19, 1951 she married Roy L. Sharkey, Jr. at the First United Methodist Church, Bartlesville, OK. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother to two boys. Rosalie was a member of First United Methodist Church of Enid. She was very active in church activities and functions.

She is survived by her husband Roy, sons, Steve, Enid; and James (Jatinder) Sharkey; Benicia, CA; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials in Rosalie’s name may be made to the Care Ministry at First United Methodist Church of Enid and the Alzheimer’s Association with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
